2. Comparison of usage and performance of blowers for cement industry

In the entire operation of the cement industry, the common blowers are mostly Roots blowers and traditional centrifugal blowers, all of which are equipment with high energy consumption and high noise.

(1) Roots blower. Roots blower is a constant flow blower, which has the advantages of simple structure, strong work adaptability and low price, but its transmission part requires lubricating oil, and has the disadvantages of high energy consumption, high noise, large vibration and high maintenance costs. In the cement industry, it is commonly used in rotary kiln, kiln head primary air, raw meal storehouse and precalciner air supply.

(2) Traditional centrifugal fans. The traditional centrifugal fan is a constant pressure fan. It is divided into single-stage centrifugal and multi-stage centrifugal according to the number of impellers. The output air volume changes with the change of the pipeline or load during operation, and the wind pressure does not change much. It has high noise and stable wind pressure. , wide flow range and other characteristics, in the cement industry, it is often used in the kiln head and kiln tail chimney exhaust, coal mill exhaust, kiln tail high temperature fan, etc.
